Farmhouse Fourth Of July In The Dining Room

Fourth Of July is one of my favorite times of the year for many reasons, but some of my top reasons are a- the fact that I have so much pride in our country & it’s a great reminder of how amazing our country really is. b- The gatherings of friends & family for celebration with food & fireworks. & c- The decor. I love a good decorating session with the American flag so even though I was a little late to the game this year due to us living in a fixer upper & being parents to a newborn bottle feeding sheep, but I couldn’t pass up the chance to bring some farmhouse fourth of July decor up in here so between sheep bottle feedings & hearing her cry because I wasn’t right by her side I whipped up some red, white, & blue in the dining room…

This setup was so simple & really only consisted of some seventy five cent flags from Home Depot in some vases from Home Goods. On the plates I used some dollar spot towels from Target & filled the tiny bowls from Home Goods with cherries. The table runner is some towels from Ikea just bunched together. Such a simple way, but with the American flags you really don’t need much for it to scream “Happy Fourth Of July”.

As you can see our newborn sheep ended up joining me for the photoshoot & I’m not mad about it. It almost made me think more about living the American dream. A farm, a family, & a happy home. I hope all of my American readers are having a wonderful holiday week & that you all take time to celebrate the fourth of July even in the smallest ways. Thank you guys for stopping by the blog today & for always supporting us in all our journeys. Be sure etc follow me on Facebook & Instagram for more behind the scenes of our farm life. xx
