Splurge Or Save Curtains

We have a lot of windows in our home and while I love all the natural light that comes through them, it is nice to style a couple of rooms with curtain treatments. A good, affordable curtain is hard to find. Today as a part of my splurge or save series, I wanted to share 2 different curtain style options; a pattern, and solid color. What do you think of a patterned curtain? These options here remind me of a french inspired cottage in a European countryside!
